3 Days Marrakech to Ouarzazate & Zagora

Overview

Three days south of the Atlas: the kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou, Ouarzazate and the palm groves of the Draa valley down to Zagora, at the edge of the Sahara, then back to Marrakech.

Itinerary

   Day 1 · ≈ 200 kmMarrakech → Tizi n’Tichka → Aït Ben Haddou → Ouarzazate

   Over the High Atlas by the Tizi n’Tichka pass, a visit of the kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou and a night in Ouarzazate or Aït Ben Haddou.

2. 2
   Day 2 · ≈ 170 kmOuarzazate → Draa valley → Zagora

   South through the palm groves and kasbahs of the Draa valley to Zagora, at the gates of the Sahara.

3. 3
   Day 3 · ≈ 360 kmZagora → Marrakech

   Back north across the Atlas, with drop-off at your riad in Marrakech in the evening.
